St. Lawrence Land Trust is hosting the 11th Annual State of the River Talk: Stewarding our Shorelines by the Adirondack Watershed Institute on March 10th at 7 p.m. in Grasse River Heritage Community Room, 30 Court St.

Stewarding our Shorelines
Dr. Michale Glennon and Annie Arnold from Paul Smith's College's Adirondack Watershed Institute will present on how AWI protects North Country watersheds through science, stewardship, education, and art with a focus on two programs funded by the Lake Champlain Basin Program, Stream Wise and Lake Wise. These programs work with landowners to assess the health of their shoreline, make recommendations on creating a healthy buffer between land and water, and reward those whose shorelines are contributing to the health of their local aquatic ecosystem.
