Habitat: Forested area

Natural History: trail system also offers a unique variety of topography, woodlands, and tree plantations. Many different types of birds, plants, and wildlife can be viewed along an over 12 mile long trail. Dramatic rapids in this section of the river flow over waterfalls creating gorges, rock islands, overhanging cliffs, and potholes.

Interest: Not only was I able to acquire a lot of knowledge about trees before posting this picture, but with the color, it appears as if the tree is showing an open wound from climate effects.
