Potsdam Sunset (Landscape)

Since a young age, I have always enjoyed observing sunsets, and for a while, I would sketch them using water color paints. This sunset was one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life, and it was in the town right next door, Potsdam! This picture was taken on a highway, so the clarity of the photo is not the best, and it did not capture the essence of its true beauty, but I wanted to include it anyway. The habitat surrounding me, other than pavement and cars, was hardwood forest. Potsdam is a town located in the North Country of upstate New York, and it is populated by roughly 9,450 people. The Raquette River flows through the center of town and the Grasse River flows through the Northwest part of Potsdam.
