McKenzie Pond Bouldering

Bouldering at McKenzie Pond Boulders outside of Saranac Lake. It was a perfect crisp day in an erratic field of glacial boulders. They are granite gneiss; a high grade metamorphic rock formed under intense heat and pressure. Fascinating stuff.
