Alone Time on the Ausable River

A crisp morning in solitude on the West Branch of the Ausable River. I hiked into a secluded bend halfway in-between Flume Falls and the Wilmington Bridge. The fishing was good. The big browns were hitting wooly buggers stripped from the bank.
