Weather
Night Fog Misty Dew
The sun was starting to set, it was cold and damp, everything was wet, and the fog made if creepy feeling someone was going to jump out at you...
Avalanche Pass
Waiting for the clouds to lift as I passed through Avalanche Pass on my way to Marshall
Wright Peak Sunrise
Caught the sunrise coming up over Colden from the summit of Wright Peak
Mt. Baker Sunrise
Climbed a 30 foot tree on the summit of Mount Baker to get this amazing shot of the sun rising.
Snowliage
Peak foliage with an inch of snow in one of my favorite places in the High Peaks
Birds enjoying the glorious spring melt on the St. Lawrence
Group hike with the Laurentian chapter of the Adirondack Club at Wellesley Island; Glorious sun; First day that felt like spring; Ice melting right in front of us
Last one standing
Driving along the St. Lawrence between Massena and Waddington..one man standing out on the ice despite serious spring melt and even some open water between him and the shore...does that seem like a good idea?
An Early Rise
Decided to wake up early before my cross country teammates were awake to see the sunrise while staying at Canaras for our preseason camp.
Rainbow Over Rollins Pond
Slight rain resulted in this beautiful sight over Rollins Pond in Saranac Lake during the first night of camping at Rollins Pond Campground.
My early morning commute...
I had to make a quick "encounter" stop during my early morning commute to Canton this morning. As I approached this spot, I heard a "sploosh!" as something slipped into the water and disappeared. Turtle? Beaver? Otter? Not sure. This is near the intersection of Judson Street Rd and Rt 35 in Potsdam.
