autum sunset
The sky just melts into beautiful colors in the North Country
St. Lawrence River glory
This is one of my favorite photos of the river, as the sun breaks through the clouds.
View of Big Tupper from the Village of Tupper Lake
I took this photo while driving back to St. Lawrence University from my home in southern New York because I always notice the snowy trails in the winter when driving through Tupper Lake, and the weather today was gorgeous! You'll notice that there is no snow in the town though. Big Tupper is a volunteer-run ski area in Tupper Lake. I skied there last year and it has some really cool terrain! Plus a lift ticket is only $20 - you can't beat that at any other mountain! Unfortunately Bug Tupper is not open this season, but will hopefully be operating again with more snow next season.
Winter Wonderland
Frozen but pretty! -17 degrees weather has got nothing on the North Country!
