Snow

Beautiful Winter Sky

I took this beautiful winter sky picture on a South Colton back road. The warmth from the sunshine was a welcomed moment.

Icy Waters

The icy cold Racquette River in Colton sure is pretty during breakup!

Icy Morning

Getting up at sunrise pays off. I saw this out my window, grabbed my camera, and ran outside without a jacket in order to capture this picture before the sun rose too high.

Cardinal in Winter

It's always exhilarating to find a cardinal at my feeder! He patiently waited until his turn.

Colden and the Macs

Climbed Mount Colden with my Winter Camping class from Paul Smith's College

Snowliage

Peak foliage with an inch of snow in one of my favorite places in the High Peaks

Last call for winter

April (snow)showers lead to may flowers? This is the butterfly at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital building in Canton. Not quite ready for butterflies, but the snow will likely be gone by tomorrow.

Winter's not finished yet

Just when we thought the snow was finished! The flowers look sad after just opening up to the sunshine last week.

Really April?

A chilly morning after an April snow but the birds are still in full spring mode!
