Raptor
Nuthatch excavating
Heard something pecking and finally settled on a tree that did not appear to have a bird on it. Finally this nuthatch appeared.
Kingfishers courting
Kingfishers starting the cycle of life.
American Robin in Snow Flurry
Saw an American Robin perched in a snow flurry, and felt that its red breast and the red berries in the tree it perched on were a stunning contrast to the blue-gray day.
The Great Grey Owl
Crowded, many visitors from out of state sprinkled among the locals all vying for a chance to get pictures of these rarely seen owls!! Very beautiful owls, almost regal in appearance!
Blue Heron
The great Blue Heron is one of my favorite birds. They look so prehistoric and majestic. I always have my camera with me when we go somewhere and I thought this was a nice shot.
