Self-Made Falls (landscape)

Habitat: Forested area

Natural History: trail system also offers a unique variety of topography, woodlands, and tree plantations. Many different types of birds, plants, and wildlife can be viewed along an over 12 mile long trail. Dramatic rapids in this section of the river flow over waterfalls creating gorges, rock islands, overhanging cliffs, and potholes.

Interest: Just like the Lampson Falls picture, I was able to take advantage of the perspective with water. However, this particular view was interesting as there were various crevices that created its own separate waterfall, formed over time.
