This is a photograph of a cluster of "Forget-Me-Not" flowers. When I took this photo I was on a walk to a waterfall, I had to walk across a bunch of rocks and this is what was growing between some of the rocks. I couldn't help it, so I made a pit stop and took a few photos of the pretty blue flowers.

Forget-Me-Not plants that are found in North America are mostly from Europe. They are characterized by their flowers which have five blue flat petals.
The state of Alaska declared Mayosotis Alpestris, also known as the Forget-Me-Not plant, to be the official state flower. Also, this flower is the official flower on National Grandparents day.

Habitat: wetland.

What I found interesting: on my walk to the waterfall the small pretty blue flowers caught my eye. The color of them was just like the sky that day.
