Animal Picture:This photo was taken on a field trip to the Wild Center on February 17th, 2014. The Adirondack's are home to countless of river otters and two live at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake. River Otter's are common in North America and adult's weight ranges from 11 to 30 pounds. Towards the end of our field trip the two river otters were being fed by an employe of the Wild Center and I was able to take a quick picture of the Otter going back into its den. I like this picture a lot because watching these two river otters was great! They were so energetic and almost swam around in patterns, doing flips and swimming backwards. If anyone is going to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake I suggested you watch these two magnificent animals.
