Leopard Frogs on Kip Track

As I walked along the KIP track behind the Wachmeister Field Station at St.Lawrence University I happened to spot two adult leopard frogs sitting in a tiny creek before the first bridge set up along the trail. I am taking an amphibian course this fall,so i tried to catch one to get a better look but they both got away. I was, however, able to take a few pictures of one of the frog's gorgeous coloring. It was sunny out when I spotted them and it had just rained the night before.
