A very intense sunrise possibly created by smoke from wildfires out West lasted just about 3 minutes before it faded dramatically.

Winter mornings do not need to always be gray and gloomy. I was lucky to experience the beauty of a Winter morning @ Trout Lake.

Waking up early, looking out the bedroom window to see a jaw dropping visual gift made me run for my phone to capture this memory. They usually are only there for a minute or so until the light changes.

From my kayak on Lake Ozonia, I was delighted to be able to photograph loon parents with their two young chicks when they swam into an almost perfect family formation!

Our family of swans came for another visit today. Daddy swan was very protective of his family and had to chase away some geese and ducks who were feeding near our docks.

I decided to take a snowmobile ride once the sun started to shine after a major snowstorm. Their was minimal icing on the trees. However, I have to admit it was beautiful!

This is one of my favorite little spots to check out as the pond with constant activity of wildlife especially the beavers who are always building dams.

A misty morning with a baby that slept through the night and an early morning cup of joe with the lake all to myself. Swimming, cooking and hanging with friends just what the soul needs.
