Community Campfire - Finding Amphibians

Event date and time
June 5, 2026 - 7:00 PM to June 5, 2026 - 9:00 PM

Our summer community campfire series is back!

Our first campfire of the year will be investigating the world of amphibians! Early June is the perfect time to find frogs, toads, salamanders, and more! The Kip Trail is the perfect ecosystem as well, with seasonal vernal pools all over the place and the Little River right next door. We're bound to find all sorts of critters.

After our walk in search of our croaking friends, we'll return to the Wachtmeister Field Station for a fire and s'mores! Our campfires start at 7pm at the Field Station, located on the left after the bridge on outer Park St. in Canton. We hope to see you there!
