This environmental educational kid’s club meets monthly, and provides regular incentives for learning and volunteering at the Nature Center. The goal is to get kids outdoors and use fun, new technologies to help them discover an appreciation for the natural world.
January’s event will be a snowshoe hike through the nature trails. Snowshoes will be provided onsite free of charge. Following the guided adventure, participants will team up into groups for winter geocaching. They will be challenged with finding items buried in the snow using GPS units and coordinates.
