Campfire season is here! To kickoff our Summer Campfire Series we are having our first themed campfire: Edible Plant Picnic! Plan to gather at Wachtmeister Field Station on June 23rd from 7:00-9:00 pm for some campfire fun! We will spend about 30 minutes learning about some exciting edible plants in the North Country and then enjoy the fire and snack on some treats! Basic s'mores supplies will be provided, but be sure to bring your favorite (or weirdest) campfire snack or s'mores addition to try along with our edible plants.

This event is free and perfect for all ages. Youth under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. These campfires are great community events to connect with the North Country environment and people. Come for some yummy, sugary, and maybe even leafy treats!
