Kids Learn All About Butterflies

Kids 5 - 12-years-old can learn all about the life cycle of the butterfly, survival, migration and go on a butterfly scavenger hunt along the trails at the Massena Nature Center. Event is Saturday, September 13 from 1 - 3pm at the Robert Moses State Park Nature Center.
Kids will play outdoor games and use interactive technology to learn more about these amazing insects. Then they will go on a guided hike in search of caterpillars & butterflies. Children will record their findings with digital cameras and post photos on their Jr. Earth Keeper Facebook page. This event is part of a monthly nature kids club, Jr. Earth Keepers.
