Presenting Navigating the Health Risks Presented by Extreme Weather: Staying Safe Before, During, and After Floods, Heat, and Severe Storms

• Dr. Jessica C. Scillieri-Smith, DVM
Field Veterinarian, NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets
Will provide an overview of the St. Lawrence County Animal Response Team (CART).

• The “Ready!” Game
An interactive emergency preparedness game where teams compete to respond to real-life extreme weather scenarios.

• Citizen Preparedness Training
Presented by the New York National Guard, this training will offer actionable steps individuals and families can take before, during, and after emergencies.

All participants will receive:
• Emergency preparedness essentials to begin building a personal emergency kit
• A certificate of attendance
