Daily Nature Hikes at Massena Nature Center

Event date and time
July 1, 2014 - 9:00 AM to July 5, 2014 - 10:00 AM

To celebrate the arrival of summer The Friends of the Robert Moses State Park Nature Center, Inc. are hosting daily nature hikes from Tuesday, July 1st through Sat., July 5th. Each morning at 9am, come along on a guided hour-long walk through the trails at the Nature Center and learn about some of the local flora and fauna. Experience the beauty the summer brings to the North Country. The trails are gentle rolling hills, easy to hike for all ages. Dress for weather. Closed-toed shoes and bug spray with DEET is recommended. *Because of the issue with ticks, it is highly recommended to wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants (tucked into socks) when walking in the woods, and perform a tick check after walking the trails.
