Certified Interpretive Guide Training

Event date and time
May 27, 2025 - 8:00 AM to May 30, 2025 - 5:00 PM

Nature Up North is excited to announce that we're hosting a Certified Interpretive Guide Training!

This training (CIG) is a 32-hour certificate course where participants learn the principles of interpretation, how to apply it to their programs, lessons, or community events, and create a short interpretive program of their own. So what is interpretation? Put simply, it's the act of explaining the meaning of something. It's storytelling. It's helping your audience connect the dots between the things they can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch, and the big picture you're trying to paint for them.

This course will take place over 4 days from May 27-30 at the Wachtmeister Field Station on outer Park St. Canton. If you're interested in attending follow this link to register: https://nai-us.org/nai/_prof_development/reg/cigregistration.aspx?Event…
