Back roads at Crary Mills state park

I was driving down Leary Road from Potsdam, and I found this overgrown side road in Crary State Park. I carefully drove down the road for a bit and came out to this opening in the picture. Not a bad afternoon detour!

I love how abandoned infrastructure like this road is not really "defunct" but now serves a different purpose: enjoyment of nature on foot or bike!
