Minna Anthony Common Nature Center Wellesley Island State Park
Wellesley Island summer ramble
Our hike was, at the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center - Wellesley Island State Park,44927 Cross Island Road, Fineview, NY 13640. (Link Below). A great summer day for a hike- not to hot, and not too crowded. We started off from the nature center on the eel bay trail, with great views right off the bat. One of the first critters we saw was a turkey buzzard/vulture. The trail goes down to the waters edge and has some more views not to be missed. eventually you'll see a large rock esker ridge(hogsback) on the left. If you scramble up that you'll get an amazing view of the area.
