Mechanics of Flight - Nature in Flight Series

Event date and time
June 25, 2023 - 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

Join staff from Nicandri Nature Center, Nature Up North, Cornell Cooperative Extension, and Indian Creek Nature Center for a four part series on North Country Nature in Flight this summer! Learn how a variety of different animals use flight to their advantage, whether that’s for finding food, showing off to others, or just getting around. Throughout this series we’ll learn to see the skies and its flying critters with a whole new perspective!

Join us at the Nicandri Nature Center Sunday, June 25th to explore how animals take to the sky in our "Flight" program. The program includes hands-on activities and fun for all ages, and is a great introduction for the next three programs in the series. Shortly after this program the nature center will also be hosting a program led by Mark Manske of Adirondack Raptors, so be sure to stick around!

This event is free and perfect for all ages. Reach out to info@natureupnorth.org or contact @natureupnorth on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with any questions.
