Cedar Trees on the shore of Lake Colden

This weekend I was one of the many SLU students bagging some 4000 foot peaks over peak weekend, a tradition to put a SLU student atop every 46 4000 foot peak in the Adirondacks. My roommate and I decided to hike three high peaks, Redfield, Cliff, and Colden which totaled 29 miles. Around mile 20 we were passing Lake Colden before beginning the ascent up Mt. Colden and hiked along the East shore of Lake Colden which was beautifully lined with cedar trees whose needles were beginning to turn orange.
