The Wachtmeister Field Station was built specifically to study the wetlands and river in the North Country.Today, the field station has been built to model sustainability and ecological research. The building is designed to maximize natural light so using electricity of often obsolete. I absolutely love the field station and try to spend a much time there as possible, which is how I was able to capture this photo. On the Kip Trail behind the building, there was a large snow drift with mouse tracks running up and over both sides. It is safe to say these are mouse tracks because of the wide, hop-like gate and the tail print.
