Lampson Movement

River habitat
The area near Lampson has been shaped by the winding Grass river. The river every year rises and falls with the winter freeze and spring thaw, thus changing and creating the banks of the river. The landscape was influenced long ago by glacial recession over New York. The waterfall it self has been created by centuries of erosion and river water. The Falls movement right before this photo was taken this large sheet of Ice was on top of most of this open area and I attempted to take a picture of it but before I snapped it the ice fell down the falls. The movement of the water pushing the ice out of the way was quite cool to watch.
