I was walking my dog and I came across this butterfly just laying on the road so I took a picture.

A beautiful animal. Do you think it was hit by a car? Do you know what kind of butterfly it is?

I thought it was beautiful too. I do think it got hit by a car which is sad. I am not quite sure what kind of butterfly it is do you?
