Podcasts to Welcome Summer

What better way to kick off you summer podcast binge than with a couple episodes from Nature Up North! We posted two episodes in May, The Blight on Bald Eagles and North Country Hiking Tips and Tricks.

In The Blight on Bald Eagles, Liz Anderson takes us through the conservation history of the bald eagle, what measures were taken save the species, and how they're doing today.

In North Country Hiking Tips and Tricks, Donatella DeFazio walks us through the different equipment we may need to enjoy a hike in the North Country, mostly recommended clothing, and how to deal with bugs. Donatella also interviews the founder of a local outfitter, Brooke Rouse of Grasse River Outfitters in Canton, to learn why she started the business.

Give them a listen and send us any questions you have about the eagles we see flying around the area, or about suggestions on local trails we think would fit your needs!
